About the Studio

Naimid Abelenda Interiors is rooted in the belief that a home should feel like a reflection of the people who live there, or the people they aspire to become.

Our approach to design is personal, collaborative, and grounded in the way you actually live. Rather than assigning a particular style, we look to our clients’ personalities, interests and routines to create spaces that feel authentic to them. We believe the most meaningful interiors are those that tell a story through the details: a collected piece of furniture, a favorite work of art, an unexpected color, or an object that quietly reveals something about the persons life.

Function is always the starting point. A beautiful home should not only look considered, but support the everyday life happening within it. From there, we layer in warmth, color, texture, and character to create spaces that feel inviting, expressive, and enduring.

We aim to create interiors that feel collected rather than overly coordinated, often blending old and new to create a sense of history and depth. We believe no home needs to fit neatly into a single style. Every project is an opportunity to create something uniquely its own.

We want the design process to feel as good as the finished space. Our studio is approachable, open, and genuinely collaborative. We listen closely, guide thoughtfully, and work alongside our clients to turn their ideas into a home that feels both inspiring and entirely their own.

Meet Naimid

Naimid Abelenda discovered her passion for interior design during her final year at UMass Amherst, where she studied psychology with minors in art history and architecture. While her path into design was unexpected, it brought together many of the things she had always been drawn to; art, architecture, color, expression, and the ways people experience and interact with their surroundings.

She began her design career in 2021 and has since gained over four years of experience working across Boston-area design studios. Her experience spans projects ranging from bathroom renovations to full-scale luxury residences, with involvement throughout the design process, including concept development, space planning, drafting, furnishings, lighting, procurement, project management, and installation.

Growing up in Newton, Massachusetts and with roots in Argentina, Naimid has always been surrounded by a blend of architectural influences, art, and culture. She is particularly inspired by European design, nature, travel, and the character found in both old and new spaces.

Outside of the studio, Naimid enjoys discovering local restaurants and nature spots, traveling, thrifting for furniture, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.
